GRRR to you Facebook!!

Not quite sure what is going on with Facebook or why it has decided to revoke me of my uploading privileges. It says that i uploaded images that were inappropriate but i did no such thing.
but when i tried to log on a few minutes ago i received this lovely little greeting :

"Because you uploaded photo content that violates our policies, you won’t be able to upload photos for 7 days.

After this 7-day block is lifted, please make sure any photos you upload follow Facebook’s policies. If you have other photos on the site that violate our policies, be sure to remove them immediately or you could be blocked from uploading content for a longer period of time"

I understand that sometimes not everyone is going to like my work, but REALLY!! to get me banned from uploading, come on now!! This normally wouldn't bother me but within the next 7 days i have 6 sessions and a wedding that i now will not be able to post sneak peeks the night of the session/wedding. This is something i really like to do for my clients because after having their session they really look forward to it and Facebook makes it super easy and convenient to show off these sneak peeks and tag my clients in those images! :(

I guess i will just be using my blog to post sneak peeks for right now until Facebook decides to be nice again... lol

For those who didn't get to see it, this was the image from this mornings session that got flagged and deleted....

this was one of my favorites from this morning!! totally candid and caught in their playful and cute moment!! :)
I've seen way worse then this on Facebook!!! but oh well, no use in crying over spilt milk! I'll just keep doing what i love to do!! :)

BIG THANK YOU to all those who showed me love and support and for all of the sweet and encouraging  words1!! they mean the WORLD to me!!!

  4. You have lovely work and you show beautiful angles and lighting, you are clearly a great photographer. Some people have problems with images like this because they find overt sexuality offensive. This couple may be married, in love, or just friends... to some that makes no difference. But, I will say, standards are important, because without a standard, some people lose their direction. Post like this can be harder for some individuals than others. For example, say a married man looked at that lady and was reminded of some sort of porn or something. This may be harder for him to identify as art. While yet another individual may see God's creation in the sky and in the bodies of the beautiful people. I would keep pictures like this to your own personal blog. I love photography, I just think some pictures are more private than others. But, I encourage you to continue doing your art and focus on what is true. Blessing to you,
    Christa
